Our secluded cove is the ideal setting for a peaceful Smoky Mountain getaway in the Andrews-Murphy North Carolina (NC) area.

      The gardens and grounds invite you to leisurely discover their beauty. Our 26-acre North Carolina estate is a picturesque blending of manicured grounds, fabulous vegetable and herb gardens, fruit trees, blueberry, blackberry and raspberry bushes, pastures and woodlands. You'll stroll along quiet paths that weave their way to a secluded waterfall or through the surrounding hills, and find yourself high above the estate gazing across the mountain tops.

The barn is home to our resident llamas and other animals. The Open Air Pavilion has a large stone fireplace, dining tables & chairs and comfortable seating.
 
The driveway entering Hawkesdene is lined with flowering trees, red rose bushes and Crepe Myrtles.

Walking paths meander throughout the grounds.One of the paths crosses the sparkling creek at the covered bridge and leads to the playhouse, gazebo and rock garden. Watch for garden spirits in the trees.

Outdoor decks and patios provide areas for quiet conversation and relaxation.
